Purchasing group Anglia Farmers has sourced two Isuzu pick-up trucks from Dingles Norwich to support the expanding team at Parker Seeds.

Now a subsidiary of grain merchant Adams and Howling, Parker Seeds is expanding to meet growing demand for its grass and wildflower seed mixtures.

Covering the whole of East Anglia, Richard Paice has joined the company as amenity grass and fertiliser manager and Steve Wilson has joined as business development manager.

“Steve and Richard will be supporting and developing the business alongside Chris Parker and the rest of the team,” says joint managing director Matthew Adams.  “We’re particularly busy supplying seed mixtures to meet ELS and HLS requirements and the amenity side is growing too.”

As suppliers and members of Anglia Farmers both Adams & Howling and Parker Seeds sell and source through the group but it is the first time they have bought vehicles.

“Obviously it’s important that Richard and Steve get out to see customers and 4x4 vehicles are necessary for the job,” says Matthew Adams.  “Chris Knights at Anglia Farmers has done an excellent job.  The service has been efficient and competitive.  The price was substantially better than we could have achieved ourselves.”

Anglia Farmers handles up to 400 vehicle sales a year and negotiates with all the main manufacturers to securing competitive fleet discount deals.
